BigDL Posted December 5, 2013 Share Great topic. Thought provoking. My goals 2014: To ride a trail at least once a week with my kids. Sub 3.30 94.7 (or to finish with my 12 yr old son if he decides to do it) 4 MTB races. Been too shy to try one so far. Join a club and ride with other people for a change 10,000 road km's Sani Epic
Karooryder Posted December 5, 2013 Share My 2 main goals are a bit contradicting... 1 - break the ARGUS sub 3... 2 - get over the sub 3 preoccupation and learn to enjoy cycling again... Skubarra

Bianchisti Posted December 5, 2013 Share Cool related article about "Life Balance & Cycling Goals" http://blogs.bicycli...-balancing-act/ This made me go and have a look. According to my Garmin report, I’ve spent a total 382 hours (and some change) training this year. That’s a total of 16 days. As a percentage, I’ve spent 4% of this year on my bike. About 40% of that was on the indoor trainer so at least I was at home for those hours. An average of 7 hours/night sleep works out to 30% and a 9 hour workday = 38%. That brings me to 72% (all of the above). The rest of the 28% must all have been spent between the missus, social, doing what you have to do, (getting ready for work, getting ready to train) etc etc. That ain’t to bad right.
