Angry at a car that had edged into a cycle-only box at traffic lights, this determined cyclist decided to give the occupants a piece of his mind. Not once, but twice.

First the man remonstrated with them by shouting through the window of the white Audi A7 which had crept into the zone reserved for cyclists.

When the Audi sped off, the infuriated cyclist rode as fast as he could to catch up with it at the next set of lights and keep up his high-volume rant.

Surw, the driver broke some rules (it is not clear if he put anyone in danger by doing so, but it does not seem like it)... Then the cyclist full on harassed the driver. Its clear to see who is the bigger d**s

Edit: "edged into a cycle-only..." doesnt seem like he alsmost ran anyone down

Cycling in London is a tense affair. The spaces reserved for cyclists are a small oasis amongst the murderous traffic. When a car encroaches the adrenaline does start to rise.

However, the best retaliation is disappearing off through the traffic.

There's no excuse for violence, verbal or physical.

A while ago on my way to work in central London I asked a guy in a Range Rover Sport who was talking on his mobile as he forced me into the kerb if his Bluetooth was broken. He shouted at me...a lot.

It was an innocent question..............

The first person to be wrong is the car driver. He is encroaching the cycling lane.

If you notice the cyclist chase down the car to the next intersection,

he does nor encroach the bus lane on the left.

Then he is wrong by shouting on the left and then right hand side of the car.

Shouting, which probably was not even heard inside the car, as the side windows were not even opened.

As the passenger climbed out, I would have definitely zapped him with pepper spray,

as it now becomes self defence.

I had a Porsche cut me up by pulling into the bus lane between the Oval and Brixton to skip traffic. I squeezed past him and gave his wing mirror a hearty smack, and at the next junction I hear this revving behind me, and the tool rams me from behind - with his porsche - into my bicycle. Chain fell off so unfortunately could not give chase as he high-tailed it out of there.

Metal cleat down the door... Fan the flames, start a war at every traffic light. Hit them before they hit you. It's the only way

(or not).

My one team mate used to do that. Remember those old Time metal cleats? Denny had great fun with those and car doors.

I am stuck in my ways and have to say wing mirrors are the way to go, because if you hit the sweet spot they become portable, and can either be thrown into the car or very far away from it to buy you some time.
