There are signs of proper impact, looks like rock or pavement or something hard, the seat stay is bent and the chain stay as impacted badly and also looks bent, this is not something I would suggest repairing.I can post a pic if there is not complications with her insurance or am I being paranoid ?

Think it would be safe to post a pic of just the stays. Shouldn't cause trouble with the insurance, I guess.
