I also brew my own stuff. After the first batch of 13 x 300 ml bottles the cost was about R 500.00 per litre. This included the money spend on equipment.

 

Now after a year I am down to about R 30.00 / litre. More expensive perhaps than commercial beers but much more fun. I've only had one batch that I could not drink (it exploded !), the rest was from OK to very good.

Gz how do you manage that? Mine works out to about R18 a liter. My cheapest being R9/L.

I enjoy sampling craft beer.

But my favorites are the Belgium beers. Duvel is by far one of the best.

Also a big fan of Weiss beer.

Other than craft beer I would opt for a Heineken. I don't like the lite beers.

my client is at the airport. planes been flying overhead since 8am today, and all i've had is coffee
