Do the opposite of what the Aussies are doing !. In Aus there is no competative sport up to the age of 13 .They do not let talent get lost !!No passon for a sport will make it die .In RSA Rasicm is killing a lot of childrens passion

you dont need to read it...you just need to see its the ASA constitution...They have to be the shining beacon of how to stuff up a sport

1. Government involvement

 

Look at any sport... were it not for the private structures and races, there would be nothing.

 

Cycling - take out Argus, CC, Epic, Sani, j2c, Nissan, MTN etc - what would we have?

 

Running - take out Comrades, Two Oceans etc - what would you have?

 

Safa, Saru, CSA etc etc - you could go on all day.

Saw this quote recently, about American Sports, from Bill Simmons on ESPN
