I'm not too keen on the cowchippers. Heard they have way too much flare. Woodchippers seem perfect but trying to bring some in is a small fortune.

I had it other-way round

 

Woodchipper more flare.

Cowchipper in the middle. (less flare)

Cowbell least flare.

Flare is as above.

 

I can get woodchippers or Luxys.

I have a set of on-one midge bars which I like but I think they are a little more flared than the woodchippers. I also don't really have anything to compare to as it's the only set of drop bars I've ever owned

I have a small Planet X Kaffenback 2 with bb7's mounted and that compressionless brake housing sitting in my spare room if anybody is interested.

Finish Line Cycles in Kempton has some Maxxis Mimmos at 35mm.  Not the greatest of tyres for rocky terrain, but ok for gravel.  Ok on the tar too.  BTW they are not tubeless specific, but can be run like tubeless - sidewall takes about 2 days to settle.
