Lets hope ESKOM follow SAA and go into business rescue.

Maybe the first thing a team out outside auditors will do is look at outstanding debt and drop the hammer on the culprits. It won't be pretty, but it is surely essential. Then plough the "extra" money into maintenance & repairs. The same team can audit the "tender" process so that ESKOM finnaly get something for their money and strip out all the leeches......

.....and they all lived happily ever after.

Hmmm, so yes privatisation would do a lot to improve the quality of the electricity supply, but business rescue for SAA? It basically turns all government bonds to junk - the guarantees are no longer worth anything.

Tested them out on Friday night when we had loadshedding.

Decided to put them along the cabinet where we have our tree as our tree already has lights. If there's loadshedding on Christmas eve, then we'll transfer the battery operated ones to the tree.

And they should load shed the municipalities with outstanding debt... Should be simple...

Apparently the money Soweto owes has been written off.

I know it is being threatened to some in debt small municipalities eg Garies in the Northern Cape.  Sucks for the people that have paid the municipality for their power though.

This is getting totally ridiculous.

Kick-start of the Eskom Death Spiral? All those that have the means will gear themselves to get off the grid.

It will get worse before it gets better.Get used to it
