Dont know wich what that part of the route is called, but on our way back on that nice long downhill, think Wynberg, somebody fell! He fell pretty bad. I just saw his bottles and bike skid over the road and saw him just lying motionless on the tar. Some other rider confirmed that he hit the barrier. It did not look good at that time and was thinking of this person the whole day and how he is doing! So, does anybody know or seen this?

so, that was my first Argus! It was way too short!

I found out I'm not that bad at climbing. Startgroup 7C,passed a lot of people going uphill. Hospital bend was though with the wind, Edinburgh drive felt easier.

Coming back was easy with he backwind.

Hope to be back another year for a full ride!

When will the results be on racetec website? I did around 2hours, pleased with that!

You should come back.  The scenery on the rest of the route it just awesome.

You must come back and do the full one, it is beautiful.

Unfortunately it was not to be this year but I think the organisers are justified. A helicopter pilot has just been killed fighting the fire which is still blazing at Cape Point. RIP.

Today most people just enjoyed themselves, but the knobs really stood out. You know the opportunists who didn't enter, then grabbed a substitution and decided to race and push everybody around.

Hope everyone had as much fun as I did

That was a good day out!

A bunch of us rode to the start, and then to Hout Bay and back for coffee afterwards.

That wind got a bit hairy in places though.

Interesting that. I never thought that there were people that actually gate crashed the Argus, but my wife told me that she saw quite a few peeps join the ride at Mosterts' Mill, where they were supporting and cheering riders on.

Other than that a good hour and nine minutes of riding.

Prove it.

You're telling me that you finished in a time that was barely 8 minutes shy of Hoffman's winning time?
