Will apparently be a designated cycle path in order to do this. Will_Mtb Posted November 11, 2015 Share Also on MTB with knobblies. Starting in J (7:10). Cruising the 26km to the start from home (Randpark Ridge) as a warm up. Will try put in a hot lap (3:15) before riding back home. Will join some of the route home along Witkoppen to soak in the atmosphere. Sorry - I'm from PE and don't know Joburg / Pretoria at all! Not even gonna have a chance to recon the route before Sunday - Going in blind! But both will require that you come along the N1 from Pretoria which will be a longer drive for you. You might consider parking at Forest Hill Mall. https://www.strava.com/routes/3644733 It is 15km from the start also mostly downhill, but you can get there via the N14 so it will probably be a shorter car trip for you. Stats show that nearly half the race packs are collected in the opening hours. The other half are collected over the next 2 and a bit days. We have a completely c&@p starting time of 10:15am so we assume traffic will already be a nightmare by then? Any help would be appreciated ???????? So past the Indaba Hotel on your left, then into the dip, the venue is on the right. There will be marshals showing you where to park, and there'll be a map and info in your race pack.
