You wanna see weakness/in bad taste.

Had this one "boks" that "claimed" some of my KOM's from me one day and he had the audacity to go put in his title to his activity "7 KOM's - You've got Mail". This just after my dad passed a week or two earlier and he knew that as well. Needless to say that totally pissed me off and got under my skin as that was just in bad "flagging" taste on his part considering the circumstances and my head-space at that time...

Needless to say I have since gone dark on strava...

My race results will speek more volumes than some random ass KOM's from this Stravahole... <_<

Wait, was this out to W/C from Cape Town?

I'm just one of those guys that do chase KOM's. Especially those in the area that I do stay in, train in and when I travel  to get at least a few KOM's.

I prefer also the longer KOM sections where many battle to get those and I can also push me alot harder. Nothing like getting a 15km or more segment doing all on your own and not in a group or race. 1 short segment in the South all of the top 10 expect mine was done in a race

lol my race results does not show currently it to justify the KOM's whaha

HAHA no, it is a local wannabee KOM-hunter that goes out when there are a storm or a massive 60+ km/h tail wind on like a 10km or less ride just to try and claim a KOM.

His "Christmas gifts" are racking up though  :whistling:

Agree with Charles, also like chasing KOM's but the reality is nowadays the guy with the KOM is 99% of the time the oke with the dedication to go out riding in raging storms to make use of the massive tailwinds. Maybe more a noddy badge for dedication/stupidity rather than ability.

I prefer chasing longer circular segments where a strong wind is not to your advantage (which is why "mister motorpacing"'s KOM's annoy me so much)

Sidenote - Just got a whatsapp predicting wind speeds of 100 to 140km/h today in Cape Town - KOM hunters here is your chance

No KOMs for me.

Only 1 top 10 (and its some unknown segment that only about 50 people have done)

Although I did have a few KOMs briefly after an accident when my Garmin was still recording and the bike was on the back of a car. But then I trimmed the ride so no more KOMs,
