If that is the true cost I would rather use breastmilk and see where that gets me....much cheaper.[emoji4]

 

Also think that PED's are probably much less expensive,therefore much more popular.[emoji185]

And the containers are a whole heap more friendly to drink from.

I am not endorsing any supplement company - mostly they over sell dodgy science. A case of let the buyer beware...

I would really find this interesting, if there was a credible source of insider information on if/how they are using exogenous ketones.

 

Hopefully, there isn't just some moron nutrition person telling them to use it without any context and careful structuring of their normal lifestyle. Having felt the negative effects of not being fully committed to either lchf or carbing up, it's not pretty.

 

Adding exogenous ketones to hep performance for lchf, probably a good idea.

 

Adding these when carbing up, perhaps a little counter productive (excess ketones seem to have a blood glucose lowering effect....)..

 

Of course, my statements above are bordering on comments from the uneducated.... I've read a bit on the topic, but I'm NOT a physiology expert...

I'm currently on a Keto diet and have lost 3kg in last 2 weeks. So making progress. HOWEVER my cycle last sunday left nowhere. Absolutely last in the pack with zero energy and really struggling to maintain pace. No GU's or S32 to help me.

 

I'm looking for a replacement and ran into this:

From a carb point of view very low just not sure about the rest and if this is just a BS product. What is everyone else doing ?

Anybody heard about it? Energy drink used by pro team/s. Two thousand pounds a liter. Developed in the Uk.

I've been on keto for 14 weeks, have lost 11kgs thus far.

Initially when I cycled, I got incredibly tired, then I read up and realized that I don't need to cut carbs while exercising as well, because your body can still use carbs as an immediate energy source, it's just better because it will use the carbs WITH ketones to provide energy. So now I ride for about an hour and then I drink some game, or eat half a banana or both, and the surge of glucose makes me feel like superman. It's only unused carbs that you should avoid, so take small amounts of extra carbs while you're cycling.

 

That's what worked for me and it hasn't affected the rest of the diet at all.

don't cut the carbs completely. Carbs with lunch is good.

Carbs with dinner is not good.
