Legs can handle cold much better!

By thermal I mean one of those skin tight first ascent skin layer things

My wife doesn't understand this - as long as you keep your torso warm, you're fine. No need for leg warmers.

My problem ain't the legs, its the stuff hanging in between them. When they freeze it hurts!

If you need leg warmers then you need the latest update to Garmin

That's where you put your gloves after your hands warm up....

Doesn‘t the bare skin on your legs go red from the cold?

I'll be doing race backup on the day... I've always been so appreciative of my club guys out there supporting us on the day, so with my problems this year it's an easy option for me to give a little back.

I'll be shedding a few tears when that cockeral crows, but just for slightly different reasons this year.

I did race backup for Jess last year and it was one of my best days out. I tend to go a bit overboard shouting for runners, though. I may have scared a few elites but I did get a smile and a wink from Devon Yanko so it was worth it.

It turns into steel

Yeah right.....

Tights are quite comfortable in the cold and quite acceptable in the northern hemisphere

Nothing to be worried about wink ????

Having witnessed my wife run a PB marathon whilst dealing with period cramps, I'd say a person that needs that feature doesn't need any coddling.

Who's gonna pay 200 bucks for this pathetic t shirt

Yeah, that’s pretty lame, and by the looks of it this is the closest Mizuno got to anything “Comrades” related. The rest of the “limited edition” stuff is pretty much all generic Mizuno crap. No Comrades logo in sight on any of the items. Makes you wonder why they even bothered

My Brooks Bedlams started to wear out on the heel and midsole (at 400km)...like right through the outer (orange) tread to the base...

Total km so far 485

So on a Saturday shopping whim i bought a pair of Brooks Adrenalines GTS19

First impression walking in them was they are a bit stiff and rigid

However running they felt great...hope the trend continues and the last longer.

Anyone running in these?
