Rub it in, why don't you? I'm too scared to go to bed at night. What if I don't wake up in time for my start chute?

unless you starting at 10.30am (last start group) you have no worries

Is it my imagination or are there an extraordinary amount of folk selling their entries ( besides mine of course) ?

ja crap loads, even on facebook, heard somewhere that the charity entries didn't sell too good so anyone can still get an entry, friend at work entered online and got in, today.

please people - it is "Argus" time.

This topic should be at least top 4 (the whole time) in the "LATEST FORM POST" block top right.

... even if they call it now Cape Town Cycle Tour

The Cape Town Cycle Tour was a good name change for tourism and many other things but are the locals ever gonna call it that. :)

Ha, ha, yes, old fogeys like me will cling to the past and will forever call it the Argus. Not because we dislike the Cape Town Cycle Tour name, we like that, it's just because we are old dogs and not very bright when it comes to learning new tricks. Ask any Capie for directions, and you will get something like: "Drive straight down Main Road and turn left at the Three Arts Theatre" (what you will never hear is that said theatre closed down about 20 years ago). We just cannot help ourselves. That Slaapstad nickname, it really fits us!

Reading this thread gives me butterflies in my stomach. It's almost time to put my bike on the plane and fly down. Can't freaking wait.

At R2000 an entry I'm not surprised those entries didn't fly very high

Shame poor chappies and suikerbossie. Have they lost their two front teeth yet?

It is that awkward time lingering in anticipation that makes us talk a lot of sh%te. Told the missus last night I think I will get a better reception from the bunch in 2G than I would've if I was with 3G.

I think the biggest issue is if organisers look at individual person, one person may pay a R1200 premium, but when you have to do that for an entire family, then it becomes a massive amount of money.

I hope that next year the split of entries reflects the economic climate.
