Snake vemon is not fully understood. The venom from Cape cobras from the western regions are believed to be even more toxic/potent than the rest. I also recently saw a case of mild cytotoxic effect from a Cape cobra. Might be the same case, but definitely not bs.

 

Edit: looking at the photos, it appears to be the same case, and also not a misidentified specie.

What's interesting is that most of us have seen and ridden close to (over) a puffy or a cobra but, unless I've missed a post, I haven't read all of them in this thread, no-one has actually been bitten ..... yet.

I have seen a few posts saying okes want to move to Iceland. So I googled if Iceland has snakes and not only are snakes and spiders non existent but so are Mosquitoes. Sounds like a "cool" place.

My mate 2 months ago. I love riding I haven't had a crash in years. 4 crashes and many rands in repairs to his bike he is very sorry he said that.
