You okes are filthy. All this talk of goo and limpness, when the obvious answer is to insert a plug.

.....the instruction leaflet recommends first rimming the hole to allow easier insertion of the plug.

I strongly suggest pulling out if your riding rigid... I didn't and have 3 boys to show for it...

triplets or you just did not learn from your first attempts

Yank them out and rotate hoop immediately to let the sealant do its work

This is what I do. Can't tolerate the thought of carrying the extra weight on a ride . . . .

You can pull them out I do like some the other Hubbers say here just rotate the tyre quickly or med speed no tubes seals quick.

 

Something that works faster than getting a tube in your tyre is something stupid.

 

No Tubes are made of Natural latex take some latex gloves with you and a small lighter. If the cut or hole is pretty big just push some of the gloves into the whole give it a bit of heat with the lighter you will be ready for the rest of the trail.

 

Did this twice but had too replace tyres afterwords haha.
