Event Name: 99er MTB Challenge
When: 9 April 2016
Where: Durbanville Race Course, Western Cape
Category: MTB

The 99er MTB Challenge takes place in the picturesque Durbanville Winelands. Due to growing numbers, the event is now taking place on a separate day to the popular 99er Cycle Tour. The 2016 99er MTB Challenge forms part of the USN MTB Calendar.

The 99er MTB Challenge has 3 routes this year, 45km, 25km and 12km. The routes are challenging and provide a fantastic ride through many of the beautiful wine farms in the Durbanville area. Please note: due to the tough climbs on the 12km route, the route is not recommended for young riders or novice MTB riders.

Anyone have more info on the trails used. I would like to do it but again I'm still pretty new to this mountain biking thing.

How does the 25km compare to the Argus Mtb 30km?

R290 for 45km? kidding right?

hahaha I've decided I will Not pay ridiculous amounts like this to ride on trails I already have a membership for. What Will make me even more miff should I do it, is if you pay this amount & they take you on a similar route to the Ashburton Meerendal route i.e. %1 of TMTBC Trails the rest is farm gravel roads.

Will be joining despite entry fee - with the cost of travelling to an event being so high, an event on the doorstep is very inviting. This is also one of the few events which is a fund raiser for a local school and their organising is always excellent.

win it!
