Vaccine passports may be required to race soon?  Will be interesting to see the reaction and in cases like SA where we may not get vaccinated until 2022.....

Interesting.

As mentioned in a different thread a while back: I can see Vaccination tourism becoming a real thing if it means you can back to doing the things you love. Plenty of Athletes will probably do it if they have no other way to enter events.

Does anyone have details of bike transport services for events?

I always used to use Troisport, they have a monster trailer they drove down to most events.

Maybe try give them a call.

Edit:  I have used bike migration a couple of times a few years ago, no real issue although they do a bit of dismantling to fit into a box for transport.  I am using Joggie's for Durban next weekend, so can give you feedback afterwards, (supposedly roll-on/off, no dismantling)

Joggies was good. I also hear Fabians transport is the same as the guys often work together.  Bike was dropped off at Cycle Lab (or one of the shops they state) on the Wednesday.  By Thursday afternoon got a whatsapp to say in Durban.  I collected on Friday afternoon, bike is hung and fixed in a trailer (no dismantling of anything).  After race returned bike to same pickup/drop off point.  Seems they drove through the night and by Monday morning got another WA message advising bike was back at Cycle Lab.  Picked it up later in the day.  Bike well looked after and plenty of WA notifications.  So will be happy to use Joggies again.

I saw! I almost died.

Had the pool to himself, and pulled out the big boys bike with the solid disc even for the ride.

Those two mates, and his family, deserve a big big flippen medal.

Looking by for a Wilier Triestina Blade 2016 saddle clamp and seatpost clamp/ wedge if any triathlete crashed his frame and maybe didn't replace it...?

Probably best to try ebay.  Are ASG still the distributers? Perhaps can reach out to them to see if they are.

ASG (quite difficult to get hold of) have a saddle clamp but not a seatpost!

Don't think that they are Wilier agents anymore.

Have trawled the net for other sources but absolutely no luck...

.... another solution might be to borrow the wedge from a fellow hubber, and have it 3D printed/machined?

Sounds like a great idea...who might have a Wilier Blade 2016??...that I can borrow your seatpost clamp for a couple of days in Durbs..?

I can purchase the saddle clamp...found one, just the seatpost wedge/ clamp needed.
