Your event is not listed on here yet, but nor is Amashova and a host of others. I have spoken to Irvin from CTCT office and he says that the complete list of seeded events will be published shortly. If you have received confirmation of your event being a seeded event, it will show on the list.

Could be that this list is from the events that have submitted applications to Racetec to do the timing. Our event will be added to Racetec, once we complete the application to Cycle Events (who manage the Racetec application).

We have only applied to CyclingSA for a date on the calendar, and of course to the CTCT for the Premier seeding event.

If the event was timed by racetec and within three months it will not get a penalty and be counted towards seeding.

There are small races weeks before the Argus that are used for 100% of people's seeding. Its not on their website, but thats what happens in real life.

Use it dont use it :D

At this stage, only licenced UCI group will be elite men and ladies.  So no U16 in the elites etc

It actually really depends on who rocks up, if there are world tour riders riding, then there are some different UCI rules.

Yes when PPA replaced the 3 small races for a full seeding with a 100% seeding on any event the "Official Seeding Event" tag became essentially worthless.

Maybe that is why they introduced this 5 penalty on the smaller event results for the CTCT seeding?

Its only for events that are older than 3 months.

It best represents your current form and seeding ability.

The West Coast express have a penalty of 5 on my CTCT seeding but not on my PPA seeding - just more than a month ago?

Q

Elite ages riders can only get into the $ group or the seeded groups right?

ie my 5 index wont be good enough for $ so will then get me into first seeded group?

officially all non "official" events get 5 penalty

Think if you have 0 "official" events they use your last ones

I had all the WC official ones and they used a PPA race for me seeding. Maybe its just luck of the draw. :P

It was less than 80km.

It was less than 80km.

Tour de PPA (110km) got a penalty of 11 on my CTCT seeding and a penalty of 6 on my PPA seeding

So I'm sticking with the extra 5 penalty for non-official events theory  ^_^

So I kinda enjoy these sling bags as it's less of a mission to carry than the over the shouler type bags, Keeps my hands free to be able to have a drink or a nibble whilst walking about looking at the bikes I cannot afford. Anyone else prefer these over the green "shopping bags"??

Oh btw, This is this years Cycle Tour Bag
