Cheap GPS for Strava

Morning Hubbers,

Don't want to use my smartphone for Strava anymore.

I'm looking for a cheap alternative GPS tracking device that integrates with Strava (even upload by USB cable), something that I can mount onto my bike somewhere with a start/stop button.

Any advice or suggestions?

otherwise a second smartphone..gps on loads of android phones that come in at decent pricing.  might not be as good for battery life, or accuracy but it will upload easy, and has a camera, and phone function too (because you can't dial 112 from a garmin)

Bryton will be re-launching in S.A within next the next month.

These units are much better than the older versions and will most likely be coming in very well priced. Check the link below, definitely going to get myself one. Previously owned a Rider 40 that I lost after crashing in a MTB race, sorely missed but looking forward to the new range.

At $180 that Ryder 530 looks really nice.

The prices listed currently are quite good, especially if you can get the trade-in assistance. Hmm, I wonder if wifey would mind if...

Yip it does.I used the Rider 310 for a while. One of the nice things about it was the fact that you can upload it straight to strava through the file tab. No more is it the long process of uploading to bryton bridge, exporting in GXP format then uploading to Strava

if you go to mnweni in the berg - i'll give you some coordinates ..there is bryton rider 35 sitting amongst a pile of rocks...you might have to relocate some rocks first though
