You know cycling's in your blood when...

When driving you see the smallest resemblance of what could be a path in the veld .

And wonder if it's a trail or even rideable and how can you could access it to go exploring.

When you know the paths and short cuts through the field better than the road names you are trying to avoid...

When you realize taxi's are actually pretty nice to anyone on 2 wheels

When I go to my LBS just for the smell

When the GF would rather have me smell of perfume and lipstick than Stans and chain lube

Don't know if it's in my blood, but I have lost quite a lot of blood because of it...

Kerbstones and singletrack have proven adept at drawing blood out of me. Not our bikes fault of we ain't skilled enough to keep it upright! [emoji13]

When you go to your friends birthday party at lunch and then sleep through the whole afternoon while 20 other people are making a racket all around you......just sayin.

They other day I suggested HiQ use Stans to plug a slow leak in my car tire and he said "Stans what?" (awkward silence)

Suggesting a chainwhip to open a jar.

Not speaking to my wife for a while because she swears she saw a niner like mine for sale at makro.

Case in point ... as you go up Comaro, just before the on ramp to the highway there is a rough jeep track going up that little hill behind the last houses .....

Checked it out a few times then one time took my car to Kia right there for a service and instead of getting a lift back took my MTB with then tried it out, sadly it just goes to the top then ends :(

I like your style, I raise you:

Car: Mazda 626, 2000

Bikes: Santa Cruz Tallboy Enve Spec.

Cervelo S5 Di2 with DA C50's

When I have both bikes on the bike rack I spend more time looking in the review mirror, to make sure no one rear end's me. [emoji16]

When your bike costs more than your car:

Car: Toyota Tazz, 1999

Bike: Trance Advanced SX

You do that math...

what you guys talking, i'm driving my wife's car...

n+1 bikes no car

When I started cycling I was a little condescending towards couples who dressed in matching kit, rode same bikes, etc.

Since I have been in a relationship with a cyclist I have morphed into thatspace.

Same car (suv) Subaru Forester

Same bike Santa Cruz Tallboy - previously Santa Cruz Superlights

Same kit but only in the good old days when we received sponsored kit

At least the colours of the cars and bikes are different

When you a cape coloured, buy a Gti with big plans to do things to it. Start cycling and now you have a towbar as the only mod, and wash it every 6 months
