You better start buying lottery tickets because you are unusually lucky

:D

Most businesses don't give a rats ass about CPA, they are pretty toothless anyway.

Wonder if a solid paper trail had anything to do with it

I am with the OP

Instead of being a deek about the whole thing you have hoped for an amicable solution, doesn't look likes its going to happen though.

Good Luck Bud, you have conducted yourself very well so far.

I'm sending the link to the dealer to see if their willing to tell their side of the story. Should atleast give them a chance.

What?!  No naming on a Friday?    What's this world come to...

Hang on OP... you said a few posts back that you sold a bike that was still under a finance agreement to get the $$ for this one? I strongly suggest you go and immediately settle that finance arrangements. Normally such finance contracts make the financier the title holder of the item until it is paid off. That means you don't own it so you can't legally sell it. The financier relies upon you to retain and make use of the item because it is his security if you fail to make scheduled payments.

Not sure the terms of your finance agreement but you may be obligated to settle the remaining debt ASAP.

As Bloukrans said, open the box and it's not what you paid for, then just send it back. It's quite a simple exercise.

But anyway good luck with whichever way this issue turns out

But how long is a piece of string, its not always easy to gauge what's a good deal or not and often only once you are down the rabbit hole do you realise oops somethings really not right here. One man's only a few kms equals test ride around the block to another guy that means 500km and some mud. Or the classic, "still got many km's left", true in theory perhaps but to another guy who looks after his kit it's past 70% chainwear, worn out throw it in the bin.

The seller was probably stringing him on as well, don't worry will sort it out, small issue blah blah before you know it you are pages deep in a bikehub sob story.

No one ever names... and it's not been that much of a Friday. Hardly a pitch fork to be seen or a hint of mob justice, comedy, madness or posts being deleted by mods.

Wow - story gets better...selling a financed bike to buy a piece of rubbish...

Surely if you're going to buy a bike on finance you'd buy (or make double sure) the right size the first time?
