I see Lance think Astana should have NOT pulled with Froome..that's probably the nice thing about tactics..everybody has his own view of what is best.Imagine everybody riding to exactly the same plan...

I would have done the same thing...its early in the tour,they have 2 riders up the road and have the chance to place themselves strategically for the upcoming fight.Put Quintana and Martin out of reach..move Fuglsang up in GC by doing that and contain Bardet to ensure they don't have to fight back time on him also later on.So effectively they move the chess pieces into place.

If they do get a chance they will go for Froome.They have 2 of the strongest riders in the peloton and Froome lost Thomas.It's up to them now to make the race.
