Was a bit frustrated there for a bit but I think Louis was maxed out also. Was a amazing performance from the guy if you think that almost all of the riders with him at that stage has been on the podium of a grand tour. Some serious riders he is fighting.Think we will see more from him tomorrow.

How many minutes would you estimate Louis needs over Yates going into the TT?

Very rough estimate can be made if you look at the TT on day 1.

Louis gave up 35s over 14km.

This coming TT is 22km, so proportionality he could lose around 50s to him.

But there is allot of difference between that first stage and this one, so almost impossible to predict.

This stage actually has some climbing, where the first one was flat, which should be better for Louis.

Maybe Louis has more left in the legs than Yates. We can't know.

Safe to say though that Louis probably needs to be ahead of Yates before the TT starts to having a chance.

Much the same story between Froome and Bardet. Bardet needs to be ahead to have a shot. Uran on the other hand might just surprise everyone if he is close enough after tomorrow.

You've got to love this year's Tour. So much up in the air until the very end

Things that were amazing today, Uran, that oke, I have flash backs of him 2 years ago in TDF when he was blown out the group when it was still 30 people in the group. Good to see he has brought his legs from the Giro to le Tour.

Yates showing fatigue in week 3 like last year, time for the Maincheese to get his UAE team to turn up the heat first thing tomorrow. If push comes to shove I think he should even give it a go on the Izoard. I doubt Froome/Uran/Bardet would chase with him 6 minutes back. Only person who would cover would be Yates. Its 10km of up, plenty of KM to lose time.

Contador - Today was seen huffing and puffing on a asthma pump on the stage, Its not even TUEsday. Yes his attack was cute, much like when savage attack. Kudo's for giving it a go, but I do not think the YJ group blinked an eye lid.

Most exciting TDF in a long time.... So stoked for Uran. What a class rider. #silentassassin

Loving it. Upset there's only 3 days left. What we going to be doing once it's done. Suppose it's just fair the rider's get a chance to properly recover before the Vuelta comes along. Some of the rider's look totally spent. Here's hoping for a great last few days racing

Flip, only now realised we have mountains, flat roads, TT then champagne!
