Iwan Kemp Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Wind and heat The 2016 winner will be worthy, to say the least Clocking 32 degrees already
Shebeen Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 The Munga Facebook page is giving a fair number of updates and pics. They say that the wind is pumping already. (That was an hour ago)sure, but anyone else doing what similar to Nathrix was with video roundups??.. munga main webpage landing still has the report from the 2015 race, so don't go there for updates! edit: maybe I got bit spoiled by the daily video highlights at ARWC earlier this month - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0Wb2LW-fvY&t=460s
Shebeen Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Good to see Ztangi - Mike Woolnough pull into 6th position at WP4, he was 16th to WP2 so is pacing himself. He's a FC stalwart, one of the bullet ballies. And has put LOADS of thought into strategies here. http://mikewoolnough.blogspot.co.za/2016/11/munga-2016-back-on-start-line.html

Rocket-Boy Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Anyone knowing Vaughn Roux? (for us people who don't know everyone) Some more info on these "ysters" will be nice I googled and can only find a Plastic Surgeon from Durbanville CT that cycles. Is it him? I remember his name from last year, he did quite well. Hitting it a second time around must help a lot knowing what to do differently and how to approach it.

Hitting it a second time around must help a lot knowing what to do differently and how to approach it.I found his freedom challenge profile, it lists plastic surgeon as occupation so that must be him. Seems to be no stranger to super endurance races.
