Hmmm... Pauline and Marianne did not seem have a team strategy in place. Or, assuming, that they couldn't execute. The finalé definitely suited the Dutch legend. With hindsight bias, Pauline could've supported Marianne and, possibly just possibly, mitigate the team strategy of a very well-executed SD Worckx-ProTime.

The number of attacks from Pogacar, I’ve never seen him go that deep.

Wow…. Epic racing! Ganna for me was rider of the day! Incredible… impressive 10 top players! Not many can attack the Pog that way, this goes down as the true  champ for champ showdown weve all been waiting for! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

…it really was magnificent racing, those last 20km’, so happy that MVDP won it, but big props to Pog and Ganna for being in contention, at the death, so to speak!

The audacity of to attack on the Cipressa - incredulous tactics by the rainbow jersey and his team.
So close for Top Ganna. That was one helluva race by the turbodiesel time trial specialist. 
17 editions, 17 different winners, until Mathieu doubles up with another victory. Great to see the champion show tears of joy. 3rd consecutive win for the team on Canyons.

That lead out as they approached the cipressa was so hard even Pog was further down than expected. Honestly just think that if your positioning is not right, it was curtains for you and i assumed that’s what happened. That’s why having a proper team in play is so important to protect you.
