What set-up does the Movistar team run with their P2Max and Campy drivetrains?

Or is that out of reach to the public?

Option for you, Patch'?

I see its the 2014 crank option as they specify 110 or 135 BCD. I think Patch has the 2016 gruppo so rings from his crank will not fit. The 2016 cranks have one BCD size that accepts compact and standard chainrings.

I don't think that the local Power2Max site is up to date. When I bought mine a year ago, the actual transaction was done over email. Best he sends the local rep, Andrew Smith, an email instead.

This one then? R30k is closer to my bike budget than crank budget!

But yeah, I think to get in touch with the rep is best.

P1 pedals.

have had mine from the launch date without a single issue.

i've had cranks and hub based PMs. the pedals are easier than both to live with.

less restrictive when you feel like moving them from bike to bike. no issues in changing batteries.

by far in my mind the best pedal based system. and i've used the Polar bluetooth pedals (nightmare).

only one small niggle with the P1s

the cleating is not bad but not great. certain not going to feel like a look pedal. but once you are clipped in does it matter?

also maybe a touch heavy. but this is something you quickly forget about

as for durability, my ole man is riding his P1 pedals on his CX bike.

no issues so far!

+1.

P1 pedals work a charm and allows me to ride SR crankset

Re cleats - I use normal look keo cleats never had an issue
