and the seeding mystery continues.

Beta 0.74 , thats a slight drop from last year although we had a bit more wind and all times were slower.

my seeding continues to improve which is a good thing, but it would be better if they get it right.

Less wind this year.  Last year these was a slight breeze (SW), which helped with return leg being a "drag" back to Emperors'

Mystery being the correct term...

I'm been faster over the last year buy a noticeable margin.. and still my seeding sucks at 26. Like no improvement whatsoever ...tearing lol

Really enjoyed the ride, Did the 50km and normally i average 28/29kmh. With the AM group we smashed a 37kmh, Still cant believe it. Big Ups to the group for your help. Only this one guy never contributed(wheel sucker) and with a few KM's to go shot off and came 2nd

That just because of the extra goos.

Dr Jeroen often talks about gastric emptying because excessive carb intake during races.

that explains a lot...????

Rode the BL bunch today and really enjoyed it.

The group rode well with quite a few guys taking turns and working together.

Pace was constant but no serious attempts at breakaways.

Held on in the front until the last 15km and then got dropped.

Pace just too highfor me.....

A good day out.

I was one of those guys trying to pull the group. If we had 2-3 more guys rotating with us in the front, we would easily finish with a better time than AL

Also rode in DL, could keep up with mr camelback and the lead bunch until halfway when they dropped us on a hill.

Great fun doing a road race with my brother for a change, both of us wearing baggies!

Aha, so you were the baggie brigade! Nice one!

It felt to me like the race only started for DL at that hill around half way. I managed to surge to the front on the climb, surprised that my legs were still okay and then suddenly the guys put the hammer down all the way to the finish. Man that was good fun.
