seriously? Any previous incidents to share?

bridge is infamous for suicides, unfortunately. So bad they have an anti jump railing fence on it now.

There's been over 80 people that have jumped off the bridge over the years and almost as many that have been talked off :eek:  :eek:

railing, camera and lifeline number on both sides

 

that said....the camera would have answered that question already in this case...but it appears to be related to the lower bridge

I remember when I was living in PE many incidents there.

The worst I remember was a guy who had a fight with his wife, then took both kids, drove to the bridge, threw them over then jumped..

 

Always felt an sense of uneasyness when driving over it. Stopped a few time to take in the view as well as taking the old road down at the bottom and looking up.

Wow, you have to be in a very very dark place to do that.

I had to drive the PE/CT road a lot, and I used to get the chills every time I drove over that bridge, especially at night,mostly just from the history.

As horrible as it sounds, I fear the worst - possible suicide attempt

 

Reading the articles, he left cell phone and wallet at home and took his state firearm with him.

im glad im not a friend or a  family member at the moment, I would stay sooo far away from social media ,, start reading this thread inserting your partners name,,,, :blush:
