Tiny bit off topic, but are you planning to continue your Crit Series this year?

If yes, can you give an idea of more or less when?

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes - we are planning to continue and will be discussing it this weekend with Gauteng North at the provincial champs.

Our club had some discussions with some service providers, and we hope to make it more formal - online entries, permanent number, discount for series entries, and a few other ideas. Sanctioned, of course.

I for one have always enjoyed riding this race,

so if the organizers can make 2 races in a year happen

you'll have my support 110%.

This way ill be able to ride one for myself and the other with my kids.....

Big up to you and the team G

How much support for only one event?  :whistling:  :D

If the second event was a crit series, would you support it?

I would definitely be interested. How many races would be in a series? Location would play a part in my decision though.

I am hopefully meeting with Gauteng North on Sunday to discuss the plans.

6 events, in three regions, or 3 in 2 regions if another region doesn't play ball.

Location, Location, Location.

And prizes for the SERIES and not for one race.

Event 1:  Road race:  Carnival City

Event 2:  MTB race

Event 3:  Crit

Event 4:  Hill climb at Suikerbosrand.

Total time of the 3 events gives you a series time.

One event per quarter.

Just a thought........ :whistling:

Sounds like our club champs - Crit, TT and hill climb. We left the road race out.

But I like the concept.
