interesting times around 1A,B Ladies and C

Noticed that but I suspect the ladies will start again in Muizenberg (or thereabouts) like they were supposed to in 2017?

Also always stay in fish hoek.

Riding with my dad this year means I'll start with him in the unseeded groups closer to 10am.

This means we'll have to leave FH by 6 so we dont get caught in the road closures, then have a little nap and some brekkies in the car whilst while we wait for our start time.

My official seeding is 3J @07:40 something.

We used to take the train into town and then either ride home or catch the train home again. They have a carriage just for cyclist on the day. The reason we stopped was one year they had an issue and we were stationary for a while and then had to sprint in cleats through the terminus and get onto the bike and try get into the pen. The que was so long and congested. We got into the pen with about 30 seconds to go. Started the race with a high heart rate that year. If you start later it is a bargain taking the train.

I think you may be right. A lot of ladies IICR were really on board with that new start and "own" race story.

Got a 3:01 from 1F in 2016.

Bunch traffic at Cape  Point, Before Chappies... :cursing:

Had to slow down & clip out.

Hoping...

2E. Lekker. Just had a screw put in after a wrist compression fracture earned at Simonsberg Contour on Sunday. Chances of making the event anyone? Would it perhaps be better to ride it on the mtb?

Eish, doesn't sound too great.

What happenned?

I also came over my handlebars on the singletrack with my front wheel banging into a big rock at low speed... landed safely and felt fine only to discover on Sunday eve that my left ankle is the size of a small soccer ball

I'm in 3B starting 07:26

Down from 2F last year. I guess that's the price you pay for not doing any seeding events

Me too went from 3J to 4C.

Last seeding race was argus 2016, and that has a penalty of 18.

will just have to do more races in future!

I hope they're big hands! I'm in 1E! It would be great to do a sub 3 in my first Argus but I'm really just amped for the vibe and mixing it up on the climbs

I am with you 100%. Also in 1E and also my first Argus. Very keen to go under 3h but will be sure to enjoy every moment.

Huh??????????????

If im not mistaken, I think tandem riders still get individual seedings and have to start in the group of the rider with the lower seeding.

Could be wrong though.

My fall is more Steinhoff like, went from 5A in 2016 to 7C

Did not even start there in my first CTCT. Guess I need to do those seeding races then (or at least up my PPA membership)
