Anyone staying in the Century City area and riding back there after the race. Looking for peeps to ride with through the sketchy area from Town through Woodstock. From Epping onwards should be safe.

There will be loads. Even last year (the one they cancelled because of the wind) I rode through from Milnerton and there were still quite a few people cycling through from blouberg / milnerton / century city etc. I think I will be cycling through this year, will be early though

Places to worry about, the Kommetjie road works, make sure you are at the front of the group approaching the ramp to the traffic lights, road narrows drastically. 

 

Road has collapsed leaving Camps Bay, make sure you are on the right. 

 

Just before the pool the road is being replaced, keep to the left.

mainly because after last year there is f#$%all vegetation to burn north of the road - i hiked through it last weekend

That was an unplanned and stinky mess that seems to be continuing.

How they can contemplate shredding that road in peak season just before the CTCT is anyone's guess. Perhaps they'll finish in time... #arsehole-ery!!
