Anatomic Sportswear Posted July 25, 2018 Share Hi guys, any idea why the silicone leg grippers "dried up" on my platinum bib?The gripper dots have hardened and they are now pretty scratchy. So much so that I'm contemplating cutting that bit off (wear them under baggies anyway.) These bibs are a couple of years old now, but the chamois and lycra are still perfect, so it's a waste not wearing them because of the scratchy bit at the end. I'm scared it might be something during washing that made this happen, and I really want prevent it happening to any of my other shorts.Philip, I'll send you a pm with my email address is a second... I'm not sure why they've aged like that, salt, sweat, sun and washing chemicals can throw up some spanners from time to time, but it's a relatively easy fix. Looking at the site above (weardirect), I could not find anything. Closest was arm warmers looking like that. She is specifically interested in the buff.
