Erm, poor comprehension on your part, mate.

1) This is not a new bike or as you put it "new-comer"

"new-comer category" refers to the ENDURO category. Not Liteville.

"But this last point is also one for contention as the 601 has longer travel than typical Enduro rides at 190mm. Does this exclude it from the new-comer category? For now, let's say not. The 601 boasts a carbon competitive weight of 2.8kg (6.2lbs) while retaining its aluminium, placing it right in the mix with other Enduro racing models."

2)"theoretically, its appealing, but only time will show if it works"

Refers to their stepped sizing of the wheels. IE big wheel front, smaller wheel rear. Like the old Gary Fisher 69er. It's not a common approach, due to spares availability and the fact that wheelsets generally get to be sold in... well... sets

3) this is not an "enduro" bike. yeah, you can use it for that, but it's a little overkill unless you are on a seriously steep track.

Correct. But that's why it's an outlier on the Enduro category, as discussed above in point 1.

I know this will annoy many people... but I don't really care.

Complains about the BikeHub not taking fact checking serious. Fails to do the same...

Makes himself fodder for being ripped a new a-hole by the BikeHub faithful...

I sense Friday in the air...

Stop this right now, the man has a constitutional right to display impotent rage and no amount of common sense can rob him of that right.

In hindsight the article seems spot-on. It was not a big seller on the enduro scene and with those specs and geo, it will probably stay that way.

You know MTBing  (anything with thick wheels) is not really cycling and just something to pass time by in winter until the summer classics arrive again?

The OP is already about to pop something in his head and then you come along ...   :whistling:

@OP: My gracious, heartfelt and sincere thanks for what has to be the most earnest attempt at self mutilation. Keep your finger off the trigger until the barrel has cleared the holster, cowboy

1) This is not a new bike or as you put it "new-comer". The bike pictured, Liteville's 601 is in its 4th generation and the 601 is well known to big mountain and freeriders, all of whom would swap their wife or carbon framed bike to own one of these (they are highly sought after due to the immensely incredible design and quality- anyone familiar with syntace will know about this). The point is, though not a household name, cyclists who take their **** seriously know all about this bike, and this company and the fact that you dont probably has more to do with the spandex/multiday mentality od cyclists in this country.

Obviously I am not taking my **** seriously because I have never heard of this brand, nor have I seen them on the local scene.

So they as a company is doing a crap job at marketing or they are not supporting (sponsoring) local rides and races.

To poke a quick hole in your rant........

these boys ARE new comers.

"German-based Liteville has been crafting suspension mountain bike frames since 2005"

Cannondale was established in 1971

Specialized in 1974

Raleigh in 1888.  Jip.......1888
