Anyone have info on

1-Price

2-Weight

3-The Freebody hub, is this a new design, if it is it going to take time for guys like Hope and the rest to get a compatible version, 

4- will it be Shimanos first 12 sped chain

I'm pretty confident about no. 1, a bit less so about no. 4.

I'm going to the local launch on Monday.  Maybe we'll get pricing details then, should definitely get all the info about it then too.

Std Shimano practice is a 7-12%increase over previous generation xtr at launch. Xtr m9000 gets discounted and then after a year prices for m9100 will start to be discounted...

Best thing SRAM did was launch GX 12spd so early in the game, would be great if Shimano did the same with SLX

Ja, maybe... will have to see. Still more splines than that, tho. 

 

The splines also only look to be about as long as the threaded section of an XD driver (ie not the full length of the cassette). Just what we needed - another "standard".

 

Anyone else think that crank spindle looks bigger than 24mm?
