Probably a Haematoma - you can leave it and see if it reabsorbs, or more effectively, drain it.

Bruising does not always show very clearly, and sometimes can show significantly lower than the swollen area.

This is also happening to me currently.

Im not on 3 weeks yet though.

This is below the open wound on the other thread.

That bump at the graze is very sensative and the lower leg has moments of feeling like its going to split or a burning sensation if Im not resting it.

The fact that you are asking an internet forum of (generally) non medical people for this advice would indicate that you are not somebody who goes to the doctor more than they should. Go to the doctor before they have to amputate.

The bruise seems visible just above the graze (might be the light) - which does look infected to me - spray surgical spirits on that every 2 - 3 hours as a bare minimum for a couple of days as a precaution and keep an eye on it..

You have definitely had some bruising in the anterior compartment (yellow patch) - question is if there is a haematoma as well - hard to say from a photo - but based on the sensation of splitting I would say there is something causing internal swelling - if it isn't improving within a couple of days then visit your friendly GP for a proper assessment - I should probably insert a disclaimer here that this is just an opinion, not formal medical advice.

The other thing you can do is ice that regularly - 2 or 3 times a day and see if it helps the swelling and discomfort.

Same here. I was click-baited!

Hahahaha! Now I want to.

I have a spray bottle of terramycin in my camelbak and in my tackle box for these kinds of scrapes and cuts. Burns like a mofo but sorts it out chop chop. Not broken bones etc. tho.

Ja Doc. My GP is about 88 years old. I had a meneer of a haematoma. He refused to drain it, insisted that it reabsorb.

Eventually I got a second opinion. Draining it was instant relief. They had to do it another two times but was absolutely worth it.

My current thingie that is being drained (DIY) is bursitis in the elbow. Stubborn little bugger. Drained it about 10 times already.
