Tour de France 2019

No the opposite actually, Thomas was leading him out and he popped and Thomas kept going.

This was a talking point last night when I got a run down from a rider post stage on how the day went.

Thomas was a monster over the last km and made a big statement.

If he came into this race a bit ündercooked"as many people seem to think he might be pretty much unstoppable over the last week or so (if he stays upright of course).

Video does it more justice of how strong Gee looked.  His Eurosport interview afterwards, he was relaxed, said he had a good day and enjoyed it and was looking forward to the rest of the tour

I'm struggling to remember what he looks like without blood all over his face...

I love the old Gorilla! Was wondering what his little run was all about...makes sense.

Missed most of his glory days, but seems to be a nice oke.

230 kms today under a warm sun, about 29 degrees with a 20 km'h headwind most of today

9 kms of neutral zone

Another one of the few opportunities for the pure speedster

80km to go: Our two breakaway riders are bored, those behind them in the peloton are bored, those following them in the support cars are, presumably, bored. The TV commentary team is bored, their audience is bored, I’m bored, you’re bored and there’s still 79 kilometres – all of it on the flat - to go. I need a coffee to help me stay awake, so here are some mildly intrigued cows to look at while I go and get one. Back in five."
