Camelbak was forced upon me when I did Tour de Tuli.

I will happily ride with one before I add a seatpost bottle cage to my on-one.

There just isn't space with the saddlebag.

Unfortunately my application was unsuccessful.

Reasons stated was:

1) Riding classic steel roadbike with MTB baggies and long fingered gloves.

2) Not Enough gears on MTB.

3) Seriously lacking in the colour co-ordination department.

I got flagged because of a saddle bag I once used.

Could have probably gotten away with it, but I was being courteous and greeted a roadie. That’s when they spotted my gloves. There was a mob of velominazis waiting for me when I got back to my car at Bidon...

I guess blind cyclists that are passionate about cricket* and its safety equipment was a niche that needed filling?

*Cricket being the game or the house infestation....
