Is anyone using these tyres that can express an opinion on them.  Struggling to find user reviews here and elsewhere.

Usage will be about 60/40 road/gravel

we are

we have sold a few but Gravel Scene in SA is still relatively NEW and GROWING.

some pics below of them mounted on a wheel --- they are great for gravel and can do some light offroading due to the micro dot side tread. super fast on the ROAD

I have them on my gravel bike and so far can't fault them. They are SUPER tight in my frame (at the rear) though, so make sure that you've got clearance. Coming from 32mm Conti's these are a lot more plush and roll well on tar/hardpack.

Pretty sure he were looking for some UNBIASED opinions ;)

That said I am eyeing a set for an upcoming build...

I have done 560km on them - about 80/20 gravel tar. At first I was disappointed because it's on my weight weenie gravel bike and they are not light by any means. But, they roll like they are and they can take a bit of a beating. A few sketchy sections on a recent ride didn't result in any punctures. Mine are on MTB rims which probably helps. I mostly ride gravel and 45c for me is a sweet spot. Previous tyres felt like wide road tyres to me. On tar they are fast. On gravel they hold in the corners. A genuinely good product

My gravel bike with it's Farr dot tyres. Last year I rode Swellendam with my other Hardtail and mtb tyres choosing not to ride my Cannondale slate which I then sold. A good decision as I passed far better riders because they were struggling on their gravel rides. This year I'm taking this because I have confidence in the set up and wheels

@Farrnus, I'm aware these fit on 29" rims - but how will they mount up on 29mm internal width rims? I'm a bit worried that the rims will be too wide for the tyres and make the profile too square? Do you guys have any experience mounting them on wide rims?

I had them on my Momsen R355 gravel bike..........not happy at all ! Punctured many times, even on tar twice during the 94.7 last year !

I took them off and replaced with WTB................no punctures yet in almost a year and fantastic grip and handling

Thanks for the comment. I must admit, I haven't put a ton of miles on them yet. Planning a big week of bikepacking next week, so might be worth doing some more research first.

Anyone else having puncture issues?

I wouldn't use them for a bike-packing trip, just too unreliable. I cycled around 1100km on them with numerous issues. They are also heavy, so i've saved 700grams with just fitting other tyres on.
