2019 Cannondale scalpel, the Land Rover of the bike world?

I have noticed your persistent grip with Toyota. Every 2nd post I see of yours is about how you think its the worst brand in the world.

dunno.

according to the search function (which is not the best TBH), that's the only time he's mentioned the word "Toyota" before this thread. If you're going to make a direct accusation be a little bit more specific (or find more data). I'm in the confused corner with Simon123 here

Simon123, my advice is this. "When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging"  The Hub is not the place to bull#h1t, you have been sprung, take it on the chin and move on chap.

I got quoted once about a Toyota mention and I'm in a hole?

LOL, way too serious around here.    I just dont suffer fools and keyboard warriors easily.

Another issue I have is the gx eagle. The shifting is plain *** and seems like it just can't be indexed to perfection.

I ran GX Eagle for 2 Minutes and then upgraded to smooth as butter XX1!

Nee donner Philip. Jy weet ek is te brandarm vir 'n Disco 4.

Soos mens hier en daar okay mense kry wat wit Fords ry, is daar hier en daar tuna ryers met scalpels ook. Skaars, maar nietemin.

Sounds like FJ Cruiser type problems to be fair. I’d contact Omnico and ask for a warranty replacement or first port of call; different mechanic

Leave the poor Land Rover drivers alone...

The Disco 3 & 4 were great cars for about 12 months - after that you hold them together with duct tape, cable ties and your overdraft.

To be honest I'm more concerned about his "interest" in Jacob Zuma than the views on Toyota.

Why would you buy a Discovery though?

My Defender is awesome. People with other Defenders who I have and will never meet even wave at me. I feel loved while driving really slowly.

It also drowns out the sound of my wife nagging me........

I can't however, legally visit Witsands reserve.

IMHO any bike that has too many proprietary parts is just asking for trouble. Get the 'Dale warrantied, sell it and get a proper bike.

Like staff members who arrive at work with stories and drama, no matter what you do, they will always bring stories and drama.

Reliability from the on set or you will always have doubt in the back of your mind, wondering when next it's going to break down

Zuma is an interesting piece of our country, and the way that people voted blindly for him reminds me of people who praise SRAM drivetains, buy Specializeds, wear Garmin watches and drive Toyotas (sorry, need to get up that Toyota search count posts).

The Disco 3 was a complete turd.  Everything broke, it cost a fortune to maintain and despite being excellent at what it was supposed to be, was mired by horrific maintenance and a build quality on part with a Makro Cannondale.    The Disco 4 was better (well, after the first year) and strangely very few 2012 onwards have any issues whatsoever except the obvious passenger door lock malfunction etc.

That said, I do love me some Suzuki Jimny 4x4.
