Garmin offer a worldwide warranty. If the unit is registered to you as first owner then it's origin is irrelevant. I've Been down this road with them. Your comment on the ad was uncalled for. Time to accept this and move on. Doesn't make you a bad Quagga

The garmin issue is not true, we have had someone who moved from the UK to SA and last month took garmin 520 in, they ran the serial number and said cant help as was not purchased in SA.

As someone who has spent a fair amount of time in the classifieds I never knew comments existed because weirdly enough they dont appear on safari on MacOS... I once sent a classified link to my iPhone and saw a whole bunch of comments and replies I had never seen before. Maybe its the same for other people but clearly certain browsers just dont give an option for comments nor show any. If I want to see any comments I have to send the link to another browser or to my phone to check.

Don’t give them ammo to slate macs - the comments appear on mine

This is an unreasonable expectation. Used is used. Brand new is unused.

He said 'looks' brand new, not is brand new.

Come and look at my roadbike and I will show you how a 10 year old bike still looks new.

"mint condition" actually.

Took in to whom? They helped me without issue. Many years ago with a edge 305 and more recently with an edge 1000.

Hmm that's weird. I had an older edge I got in the USA(a friend went over and bought it back for me) a few years back and it died, Navworld offered me the upgrade deal without question.

I think whats changed is that Navworld no longer have a vested interest in the warranty and servicing of Garmin units as they are no longer service agents.

That has been the viab I have been picking up of late.

slight change to the wording above ....

So nice that the technology allows the use of photos .....

Or when the photos are like 3 years old and does not match the items current condition

when you do go and you likely will have to at some point always speak to Regis. He's the knowledgeable guy.

The other oke insists that a duracell DR32032 is incompatible with the Heart rate straps and that you have to use a CR2032. I suspected there is a serious gap in knowledge so I confirmed with Duracell and Panasonic that the DR2032 is just their designation for similar battery tech that others classify as CR2032.

An ad on the hub...the advertiser told me the bike was in mint condition...if it wasnt he would give me the bike for free...i left Durban at midday...arrived in JHB just before dark...saw the bike paid the man and drove back to Durban...i have had the bike for a couple years...it is still in mint condition.

saw an add for Di2 levers (to good to be true) "like new"...collected the cash...met the person at his house...they even had packaging...lucky i opened and checked the levers...seems the fella had claimed from insurance after a small ooops...put new lever on the bike and the damaged one in the box....gave him a bad rating...a damaged part in the replacement parts packaging doesnt qualify as like new.
