Haka, always enjoyed it. Of late it has been pretty mild, not enough old ugly scarred buggers and facial tattoos in the modern squad.

Damn, what a pity we won’t see it on Saturday

One thing I do find disappointing is the standard of the national anthems, they should imo have had a proper singer for each anthem instead of just music and the crowd singing

I cannot agree with you.Its become a TV spectacle and has been devalued.

I enjoyed the days of singing anthems without solo singers and passionate supporters declaring their allegiance. The Haka was a highlight. Now I could not care less.Amazing..just had a fiery necked night jar call outside my study window..now thats important!

Maybe we have become spoilt by seeing the Haka on tv so many times, but I’m guessing those who are not used to it (many in Japan and other non major rugby playing countries) would enjoy it.

For me listening to the anthems in this rwc on tv was a non event for some reason, even the welsh fans who arguably sing the best did not sound that good. For the millions of tv viewers it would be better if they played a singing version of the anthems to supplement the crowds singing.

One of the highlights of 1995 as a young schoolboy was listening to the CD compilation of all the national anthems of the participating teams.

World In Union by PJ Powers was also something special.

Just an instrumental version doesn't do a song justice, they need to bring back the vocals!

This is how you stand down the Haka

But you're not allowed to anymore because it upsets the Kiwis when any aggression is show back towards them..... I'd love to see a team either just not face it (like go for a jog around their half), or all turn their backs and do a hamstring stretch.

Any competitive sport has a large portion of psychological one-upmanship. The current rules around the Haka give NZ the upper hand before the start of the game which I don't think is fair.

At school we used to play against another school that did the Haka (NZ heritage at the school) .... personally I found it got me really hyped up and ready to rock and roll ... certainly was not "intimidating" in anyway.

I must be honest, now that i think about it, i would feel like real dwis dancing around in front of my opposition. i dont think it would motivate me much.

Everyone would be up in arms... How dare you disrespect the haka......Time the world stopped pandering to them

Perhaps before we bash the Kiwis, we should get our facts straight. Just saying.
