I ride the cradle and there is plenty space within the yellow lane. I understand we have to come out now and again, as there is either glass in the lane or a pot holes. But there is no need whatsoever for those tri athletes to ride like that., It does give the rest of us a bad name, as well as piss other road users off. 

But what can we say some people just dont give a ****.

until the headline reads... Head on collision due to 3 CYCLISTS taking up an entire lane. Noone would be worried about the driver crossing a white line!

How so? ... They're idiots, and maybe they were passing each other, but even so. Check first before passing, just like when we're driving.

 

But the person driving didn't cross a double line on a blind rise due to 3 people cycling took up the lane. They did so because they're an impatient and negligent driver. Guaranteed this wouldn't occur behind an overladen bakkie.

 

It's reckless. Same as those 3, no excuse.

 

But. Collectively our behavior is the lowest common denominator. As we see on both this thread and those forum comments.
