PainCave table/stand

Looking for options to use as a training stand/table with my indoor trainer for laptop/tablet & bottle. Something like the Wahoo Fitness Bike Desk, but just much much cheaper!

 

Any ideas for options?

I use a music stand I paid very little for from takealot. But as a solution its no where near as practical as the kickr desk or the Cyclops equivalent. A work colleague and I are thinking of building one using our current suppliers but it has become a long term project.

We use a hospital tray stand, works a treat and comes in 85% cheaper than the Kickr Desk

Seriously though, I'm building one with a rack for my cheapo desktop, a bracket for a screen and ledge for a BT keyboard and mouse. I have some pieces of ply in the workshop and probably need about 2m 76x20 pine bits. Will fasten it to the wall with a single anchor.

I have the laptop and tv on a shelf on the wall. I use my bike map board for the mouse and tv remote, works perfectly

I run my software stuff on my media box which is on my TV and the remote is..... Well a remote so I'm not understanding the need for a place to put my laptop TBH. My laptop is in the bag when im on the trainer.

My laptop is on my desk and the IDT with bike is in front.

I made a shelve with a off-cut of a kitchen top - I have to add that My TV and Laptop is almost a permanent fixture.

It does make life a bit easier if you have a permanent pain cave set up.
