Yip she won Lenzerheide 2017.

But being British female her results don't count toward the Men's results.

Pidcock is the first British Male winner for 27 yrs

Then people should specify.

It ISN'T the 1st win for a British person. If Evie Richards won the race next week and the commentators said 'That's the 1st win for a Brit since 2017!' everyone would say 'Erm, dude, Pidcock won the other day'.

Women are British too.

So...whose going to Tokyo after all that. Candice or? Alans place guaranteed, no?

Alan’s fate is in the hands of SASCOC, but can’t see why they would decline someone that could podium in Tokyo.

I get what @Jewbacca is saying...they kept on saying first UK this and that, but should have been clearer in saying first mens XCO.

Although the Brits are celebrating, and rightly so, Tom is not your typical Brit. He doesn't drink.

He doesn’t even drink coffee; OJ is drink of choice.

Alan and possibly Mariske would be my bet. She's showing better form as we get closer to the Olympics. However likely only Alan will get the nod since he's the only one showing medal potential. The ladies field is just too deep in talent at the moment for our girls to have a realistic shot at top 15. Mariske could do a top 20 though.
