Buchmann is having a good day..

This is totally off topic but am a newbie and guess this is the right place to ask. When does Nic Dlamini actually ride in the big stuff? What are rules on the larger competitions? Have hardly missed a race this year and just feels he never gets the opp to ride?Or is that just the team strategy?  Please educate me.

Bernal is a very classy guy.. Not just as a rider but conducts himself very well in the interviews... Very humble guy.

You know when you've won the maillot jaune, youngest ever. And still weep when winning your first Grand Tour win.

He lost a lot of race days due to his injury because  (sanparks assault) and COVID travel restrictions.. Hope we see him at the Vuelta....

Teams pic the riders they feel will deliver on whatever their goals are for the races.. He may just have needed some more race days after a difficult year before a Grand Tour.

Hope he sues sanparks. That was totally unnecessary regardless of what happened-if the ranger has such balls he needs to hunt poachers in the Kruger with a knife, not attack cyclists. Wish him well and just really want to see him out there.

The problem is down to form I guess. Assos took the neo pro to the Giro, must have known he had better form than Nic and he won a stage yesterday.

When your first professional win is the srade bianchi stage of the Giro - wow.

There was so much going on in the pink-jersey group, I missed the whole Breakaway dynamic. They should really rebroadcast the stage, just showing the footage from the breakaway, would like to see all the drama there.

I just noticed Schmid finished 41st at Strade Bianche this year ( in same time as Buchman who also rode so well yesterday) so he might not be a star but is also is no pumpkin.

Well done to whoever it is at Qhubeka Assos for spotting his potential and recruited and selected him for the team and the race.
