ACE Cycles Posted November 25, 2021 Share So we have a 30min neutral zone, followed by a 30min feed zone and no free time to stop at feed zone 2, right?

Karman de Lange Posted November 25, 2021 Share – The second Team Support Zone starts 2.7km before Bonnievale Cellars. Your race time will be paused for up to 30 minutes. This is the only other point on route that the support vehicle is allowed to feed the team. Please ensure that your support vehicle carries all your team’s nutrition and drinks. Water will not be available. Refreshment Stations and Team Support Zones | Double CenturyDouble Century

DieselnDust Posted November 25, 2021 Share Don't trust the website. It was going to be updated but very likely not. We have 30min to get through the Montagu to Ashton Neutral zone, maximum. Then we have a 30min comfort break in the feedzone at Ashton. Your maximum total time between the entry at Montagu and the exit in Ashton is therefore 60min. your minimum time through the Cogmans Kloof NZ is 22min 12ish km at 30km/hr max average speed. So you could have 38min in the feedzone Then Bonnievale is a 30min untimed feedzone again as in previous years with the exception of 2020 and pre 2010(?) * checked the website and it appears to be updated correctly. Jbr Posted November 25, 2021 Share I thought the neutral was 13.7km, so about 27:30 mins minimum. it seemed a bit tight to have to do it in more than 28mins but less than 30mins
bleedToWin Posted November 25, 2021 Share 6 minutes ago, DieselnDust said: We have 30min to get through the Montagu to Ashton Neutral zone, maximum. There is no maximum for the Neutral Zone, there is only the 60min that covers both the Neutral and the stop. Your time will not start after 30min if you are not yet through the Neutral, it just reduces your Support Zone time. I'm nitpicking, but the details matter.
