I’m situated in Stellenbosch, but if you send me some photos and dimensions I can see what i can do

I have a 2nd home in Somerset West that I get to use for two weeks a month with this WFH scenario. So maybe I can bring it through to a convenient meeting place when we are there.

Look keo road cleats ( I want the spacing of the three holes off centre, to enable me to move my shoes (size 48) a little bit further away from the crank arms.

Pedal extenders add too much space at 16mm per side

Longer pedal shafts are crazy expensive (if you can find some...)

will never understand why a XS bike has the same q factor as a XXL...????

My son has a Silverback Stratos SBC...actually belonged to Mariske Strauss. We converted the rear suspension from remote to manual lockout...now we have a cable grommet in the frame which has a hole for the cable...id like to replace it with a blank one without a hole.. Hes actually studying to become an aeronautical draftmen and has started drawing it in CAD to have it printed but i dont think he finished it...its quite an odd teardrop shape

Beginning of this year I bought myself a Fenix 5. Great watch! I could however not for the life of me find a suitable mount to mount my Fenix unto my handle bars. There were the universal bike mounts out there, but usually they were sold out as soon as i contacted the seller. Either that or they were very expensive.
Some background, i am currently studying Engineering and as a hobby i bought myself a 3D printer.

Only after a while i put two and two together and realised that i could just print myself a mount. I could also customise it the way i wanted. I opted in for a mount that attaches to the quick release mounts of my Fenix’s straps and mounts to my stem for a clean look. I started selling these mounts here on bikehub and i was supprised by how many people were interested.

At this stage I am wondering of there were more people out there can can just not seem to find a specific part they are looking for, or replacement for something that broke. Do you guys have any suggestions on things i can design and print? Things like flat pedals that clip into your spd pedals, or more funky things like a coffee cup holder for your bike? What is that one thing that you just can’t seem to find? And have you thought about maybe 3D printing one?

I have found something that is also quite useful.

Just slapped this together for a mate for the PowerBank for his bluetooth speaker ... some may know him,  he's the music provider on most DOC rides

Will those tabs hold the weight of teh bank bouncing around for a while? Might be better to print the craddle with a saddle to hug the stem better, then secure it with cable ties over a wider area.

I'm sure Thys will see the benefits of that for sure

Me as well

I eventually had three sets of pedal spacers  machined from a set I got from @Richard Baxter at a bike fitting. I have the same problem. I am now using 20 mm extenders on all my bikes. If you are built like a prop forward why do they think the same Q factor that fits Pantani will apply to you? I first saw this on my Garmin Vector pedals which has platform centre offset measurements on it and it shows i am pushing off the side of the pedal rather than on the centre line.

There are alos extra spindle length Shimano Ultegra pedals ( have a set) but when i changed to the garmins they don't have the same extra spindle length. I suppose you could get a set machined but spacers work as well.

Also try Lake shoes if you have big feet - recommended.
