Kickr Core Two Pin Plug doesn't fit

Hi all

Just purchased a kickr core, the two pin plug it came with doesn't fit any of my plugs. Does it need a UK or US adapter?

What does the other side look like ?

 

Think it is a standard PC or kettle lead.

You just need a round two prong plug thing.  You can get these at any shop - PnP, Checkers, Clicks, Builders, Takealot, etc.  They're very common.

It's a normal kettle cord fitting, easy enough to "fix"

I've tried two of those, even went and bought a new one from the shops, it gets jammed, wont go in all the way

For warrantee purpopses I left the lead as is (absolute joke as I have done industrial wiring), and used a spare PC lead.

 

 

The adapter plug as noted above is probably the way to go if he/she does not have a spare lead.

use some side cutters and trim these bits off

JIP, that is a standard lead as used for computers and kettles.

 

Your IT at work should have a lot of spare leads.

Just take all the flanges off if you already own one of those plugs.

I used an extension lead with flat 2 prong holes in between the standard plug holes. Don't get fancy if you don't have to, just get a flat adapter.

it wont fit in there since you need to cut off that earth wing on the top part as seen in the pic

If I recall, it is a British Plug...you should be able to get a socket at Incredible Connection (my Kick has the proper flat 2-pronged plug)

You need to break the support bits. My works fine, on all my appliances with the same type of plug.

Just cut that off and connect to a normal plug with the wiring.
