The groove tool pro without chain breaker can now be ordered.

What is the difference between the old and new models, without the chain breaker ?

The two new models are the groove tool pro.

the old one was all plastic with metal bits and really only suited to light work out on the trail.

the two new “pro” units are aluminium chassis and cover steel bits improved sealing of the cover and the bits have a better finish.

the one with chains breaker is only outwardly similar because with uses a totally new chassis design , new bits in order to fit the chain breaker in.

From?

Price?

Any LBS that has an account with Omnico can order from them (they have stock).

Assume you'll end up paying similar to what Olympic are advertising (R440)

  • 2 weeks later...

You guys KNOW that Evobikes CAN and do order it in, AND will ship to your door ....

You might have to add a few items to the basket to off set shipping ....

If it was available on their website, then I would do just that!

(frantically searching)

Thats why I copied @Naas

It is newly available from the distributors.  All shops are now doing their stock checks.

Pretty sure this will be in the next email from Evobikes, and other stores

Anyone managed yet to get their hands on a Groove Tool Pro with chain breaker?

I haven't tried yet
Still counting down the 6 weeks

That name is so long, it reminds me of the Momentum Medical Scheme Cape Pioneer Trek, presented by Biogen
