I am sure he is deep in the hurt box , but I could not figure out while watching it live why he only has this face when looking up? Maybe I am just having a negative day but never liked animated antics for the camera. At least Thomas Voeckler was pulling faces while looking down as well.

or like Carapaz' for the benefit of his adversaries, then springing to life spritely to sprint splendidly

but that Hugh Carthy though... a proper gurning man!

Yoh !

Guess my lack of interest for this vuelta is getting worse and worse. First losing any compassion for Primoz for blaming his mistake on Wright, then Remco being a soccer player. None of the front runner-leaders is likeable to me, so I struggle to find interest in the racing

In a way I can understand Remco's behaviour. He is doing everything he can to avoid contact with people outside the "bubble" while the fan also did not even have the courtesy to allow him time to take off his helmet and wipe the sweat from his face.

Re Primoz I agree with you. If he must speak out every time he crashes he will spend more time talking then riding.

Hoping Louis can add a 2nd Grand Tour win to seal a lekka 2022 for him and IWG today. There is a fight for 3rd imminent today too. Mas likely another 2nd finish for Movistar who is desperate for points on the UCI snakes and ladders system. The red jersey in a dominant position with more than 2 minutes in hand. It is an important day for the Steppers.

Of course, everyone was in hypoxic state on that final straight. And, with the eyes on the stage win prize, it was a good ol' racing incident, hey.

Fred Wright is in the harsh spot light with a bruised and battered champion in Primoz. His team released a contentious statement. Two sides of the emotional coin for Fred Wright. He burst onto the scene during this Grand Tour and also earned a contract extension until when I am much older than today. And now this charge:

I hope Roglic feels some embarrassment when the concussion wears off.

The pink jersey Jay doing season-ending training, aiming for the Tour de France? I expected a challenge from the Australian.
Overall, very intriguing results in the top 10.

All about Remco but Ayuso will be the next superstar!

It was a very good home race for Spain with Ayuso on the podium and the Rodriques holding on for a top ten despite his injuries.

Wonder whose actually at fault here.

From what I saw it was a monster effort from Roglic and when he tired and the other guys pulled through he made what I thought was the incorrect decision to join between riders rather than at the back

he was on the limit and maybe not thinking correctly. He pulled into the mini breakaway whilst Fred Wright seemed to just hold his line

It was a racing incident and possibly Roglics fault.  He’s had some terrible luck and usually is pretty stoic about it because he redeems himself with a Vuelta win

This year he hasn’t been able to “fix” his year with a Vuelta win,  frustrations have boiled over and he’s looking to apportion blame.

Seems out of character but I’m afraid he’s wrong

I’d love him to win the Giro or TDF

As an aside I have found this Vuelta boring - not sure why as some great performances
